A rectilinear dark cropmark, up to approximately 3 metres wide and with a curving southern edge, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1952. It is tentatively interpreted as having formed over a ditched enclosure, of possible later prehistoric date. The cropmark broadly corresponds to some very indistinct cropmarks on later aerial photographs taken in 1999. On this sortie are also visible further dark green cropmarks visible in the south and east of the field, but these do not make a coherent form and have not been transcribed.
