Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 4 metres in width, and some trees, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. The banks are still visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. They are aligned cross-contour and in a plot depicted with orchard trees on the late-19th century OS maps. They are interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century banks for fruit tree cultivation, which went out of use in the 20th century.
