Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (AI&M) (Interpretation). SDV361305.

Curvilinear cropmarks circa 6m wide and 220m long are visible on aerial photographs of 1987 on the north-west facing slopes west of Beggar’s Bush, Chudlegh.
The visible cropmarks do not correspond with any field boundaries depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey but are in keeping with the character of the surrounding field pattern. The cropmark is interpreted as evidence of former field boundaries possibly of medieval to post-medieval origin that were removed prior to circa 1840. The possible boundary is not visible as an earthwork on digital images derived from lidar data and has therefore been levelled.
