Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (AI&M) (Interpretation). SDV361305.

Two pairs of narrow parallel linear cropmarks of ditches are visible on aerial photographs of 1984 as cropmarks south of Castle Dyke Camp. The cropmark ditches are less than 2m wide, circa 3m apart and up to 130m long.
The visible features do not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey, but fall within Ugbrooke Park. They are not, however, in keeping with the numerous cropmarks of probable prehistoric date that are visible in this area.
The cropmarks are interpreted as forming over the remains of ditched field boundaries of probable post-medieval to 19th century date, the boundaries removed prior to circa 1840 possibly for the creation of Ugbrooke.
