An oval pit or platform is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 and digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 as an earthwork circa 21 by 8m in size on the east-facing slopes west of Wood House, Hennock. The hollow is enclosed by a low bank circa 3 to 5m wide, that might be evidence of spoil arising from cutting or terracing the feature into the slope. The date and function of the earthwork are unknown.
