An earthwork bank or scarp 60m long and up to 5m wide is visible to the south-west of Ugbrooke House, Chudleigh, as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 and digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The visible earthwork does not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey and was probably cleared prior to circa 1840, possibly during the creation of Ugbrooke Park.
