A curvilinear earthwork bank, up to approximately 12 metres wide, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. It broadly follows the contour, and it is possible that this is a geological feature. However it fits into the field pattern depicted on the 19th century maps that has been characterised as medieval in origin, with its western end perhaps joining an extant field boundary. It is not depicted on the Tithe map and any field boundary here probably went out of use before the mid-19th century.
