Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (Interpretation). SDV361305.

A linear bank circa 6m wide and 90m long is visible on aerial photographs of 1946. The visible feature does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey, nor is it in keeping with the medieval character of the surrounding field pattern,
The bank is interpreted as a field boundary of probable post-medieval origin that was inserted into the medieval field pattern but removed prior to 1840. The bank has probably been destroyed during the construction of ponds in this location.
