Its northern end terminates at the corner of an extant field boundary, and it is tentatively interpreted as a field boundary of possible medieval origin. No features are depicted in this location on the available historic maps, and any field boundary here went out of use before the mid-19th century. A further earthwork mound and pit to the south may be associated and has been transcribed as part of this record.
