Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Farmstead depicted comprising a courtyard arrangement of buildings with the farmhouse on the south side, with a a building in the centre of the yard. An additional building is also shown to the south of the farmhouse.

Binneford marked. Comparison with the Tithe Map sows the building in the centre of the yard to have been replaced by buildings on a different alignment. The building to the south of the farmhouse has also gone.

Modern mapping suggests that the historic farm buildings are generally still extant.
