Visited October 2009. Adit recorded at SX 77642 77902. Clearly visible entrance, some maintenance. Fenced off adit with entrance pathway with membrane cladding to sides. Entrance to adit is concrete with wooden door. Cast iron gate and posts "F. Morton Co Ltd, Liverpool. Garston No. 1". There is a second adit at SX 77481 77970.
