Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (Interpretation). SDV361305.

Linear and curvilinear banks are visible as earthworks on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthwork banks measure between 4m to 8m wide and broadly follow the contours of the northeast facing slope. They do not correspond with any linear or curvilinear features on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on later available historic maps and are interpreted as possible medieval strip lynchets. A linear earthwork ditch which corresponds with a post-medieval field boundary on the Tithe Map bisects the lynchets.
