A bank circa 2.5m wide is visible as a subtle earthwork on the north-facing slopes of Shaugh Moor on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2007.
The bank encloses a hollow or terrace up to circa 4m across.
The circular feature is interpreted as the remains of a hut circle of Bronze Age date, possibly associated with an enclosure immediately to the west (MDV12953).
The bank and hollow are identifiable as earthworks on visualisations derived from low resolution lidar data captured in 2013.
