Two pale areas, possibly low structures, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946, linked by a pale narrow path. They may be associated with the golf course but at approximately 5 wide and 13.5 or 21 metres long their size is consistent with Nissen huts and it is possible that they are bases for Second World War military structures. They are not visible on more recent aerial imagery, where the area is tree or scrub covered.
