A limekiln is shown in proximity to the west.

One of the pits correspond with an earthwork labelled as ‘Old Quarry’.

Irregularly shaped pits, between 17m to 50m long, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthworks do not correspond with any pit features on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, although a limekiln is shown on this map in proximity to the west. One of the pits does, however, correspond with an earthwork labelled as ‘Old Quarry’ on the early 20th century Second Edition Ordnance Survey map. The earthworks are therefore interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century quarries probably associated with Limekiln MDV19882, which had passed out of use by the mid to late 19th century.
