Two adjacent sub-circular ringed cropmarks, interpreted as having formed over levelled earthworks, circa 3m wide and 15m diameter, are visible on aerial imagery taken in 1946 and 1955. The cropmarks do not correspond with any sub-circular features in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe map, or on later available historic maps, although earthworks of a possible quarry are shown in proximity to the southeast (MDV126360). The cropmarks are of largely uncertain origin, although may represent evidence of post-medieval or 19th century extraction, or else possible prehistoric ring ditches.
