Several wide curvilinear earthwork banks and one ditch are visible on digital visualisations of lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. Many manifest in a similar way to field boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map, and some are contiguous with them. Although some of the earthworks fit closely into the surrounding field pattern, which is typical of medieval origin enclosures based on strip fields, others appear to cut across these field boundaries as depicted on the Tithe Map. They are not easily distinguishable on the available aerial photographs, and may be very slight earthworks. They are interpreted as relict medieval, or in some cases perhaps earlier, field boundaries that became disused by the mid-19th century. Their varied width, at between 3 and 16 metres, suggests that some boundaries have been spread more widely by subsequent agricultural activity. Only those that do not correspond with boundaries depicted on the historic mapping have been transcribed.
