Full description

Newman, P., 2002, Headland Warren and the Birch Tor and Vitifer Mines (Report - Survey). SDV363213.

(Visited 10/07/2001) Leat supplying a tin openwork on the eastern flank of the Redwater Valley which has its source at the head of the neighbouring West Webburn valley and extends around the south slopes of Birch Tor. The lode was named Garden Lode in the 19th century and a single shaft and adit survive from that period on the floor of the openwork together with a small rectangular building.
