A probable barbed wire obstruction is visible as a dark double linear vegetation mark, or possibly open structure, on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1947. It is not visible on later available aerial images suggesting that any structure was removed soon after the war ended.

A probable barbed wire obstruction is visible as a dark double linear vegetation mark, or possibly an open structure, on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1947. It covers a maximum of 6 metres at its widest point. It runs along the south side, then turns north to cut across, the earlier ditch connected to Watch House Battery (MDV17342). It is not visible on later available aerial images suggesting that any structure was removed soon after the war ended.
