White, A., 2009, Structural Appraisal, Arsenic Works, Devon Great Consols, Tamar Valley, Tavistock, Devon, 10-11, figs 66-72, Nos. 202-3 (Report - Survey). SDV347876.

(Site 202) Structural appraisal provided of the copper crushing engine and boiler house plinths at SX 42602 73305. A massive masonry structure the basis of which comprises stone masonry on which are bedded large blocks of granite to support the crushing machinery (figs 66-68). Stone staple connecting the granite blocks can still be seen on the top surface.
The south wall of this feature also forms one of the walls to the arsenic mill. To the east are the remains of a stone wall (fig 69).
(Site 203) Copper crusher plinth at SX 42593 73313; remains of this structure (fig 70). Long rectangular plinth that runs parallel to site 202. Has a massive timber bolted to the top. Other two plinths are located about 1.2m away and also have bolted timbers . Evidence of some form of brick structure on top of the east plinth (figs 71-72). On both the east and west plinths are steel; bolts for a third timber lintel which has now collapsed into the void between the two plinths. In the area between these plinths is a massive granite block; unclear which structure this was originally part of.
