A rectangular, flat-roofed structure, circa 7.5m long by 4.5m wide is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards. The structure does not correspond with any features in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on later available historic maps. Oblique aerial photographs taken in 1948 show that the structure has a possible concrete roof. It may represent the location of a Second World War air raid shelter which has been recorded in this area to the south (MDV53778). Given the uncertainty of the origin of this structure, however, it has been recorded as a separate monument. The structure is roofless in 2002 and has been demolished by 2010.
