A very feint and silted length of a leat channel runs north-north-east to south-south-west across Walkhampton Common. The surviving section is 200 metres long and is most visible where its course cuts through an abandoned enclosure wall (MDV62013). The water source was certainly rainwater runoff, though the destination and purpose of the leat is unclear.
