Summary

Burrator quarry. Quarry structures. Vis=7/12/1979 (greeves,t. ).1) rough cement and stone chipping block (rectangular) 175cm x 62cm x 35cm high and four threaded iron bolts (now bent) a few centimetres in from corners on upper surface.2) 110cm x 53cm (max) x c 40cm high (see sketch on worksheet) rough cement and stone chipping block irregularly shaped but approx rectangular. Remains of six threaded iron bolts in upper surface (4 bent, two broken off). Bolts 2.0cm in diameter.(greeves).
