Grinsell cites Breton (1914) who records a possible cairn incorporated into the reave in this area, but is unlikely. Ordnance Survey visit (1980) records the reave is cut about in the vicinity of SX 56756667 and overspread in many places but no cairn could be found incorporated within it. Survey in 2005 also could not locate a cairn here.

(14/02/2005) The reave in the area of the given NGR has been severly damaged by stone removal in more recent centuries. Several small cairns and amorphous piles of recovered stones lie on or adjacent to the remains of the reave.
