A number of curvilinear earthwork banks are partially visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and more completely on visualisations of lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. They are very broad at approximately 12 metres wide, and are not clearly visible on the aerial photographs, suggesting that the earthworks are relatively slight. They do not fit into the extant or historic field system depicted on mapping in this area, and it is possible that they are the spread remains of relict field boundaries that pre-date the boundaries depicted on the Tithe map, which are characterised as of post-medieval date. They enclose small irregular areas, as might be expected of medieval settlement, although no clear pattern can be distinguished.
