Small, rectangular building depicted on the tithe map at Aller Farm (plot 1057). No longer extant, this appears to have been replaced in the late 19th century by the bank barn, which itself was later converted for residential use (see 2005 survey).

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Unchanged from the tithe map depiction; the late 19th century historic map still shows the former farm building at this location.

Early 20th century shows the new farm building (constructed 1893?).

Richards, A. F., 2020, Curtilage listing of barns at Aller Farm. North Bovey (Personal Comment). SDV363497.

Despite the farm buildings to the east of the farmhouse having been separated from the farm property, sold off and converted for residential use, planners at Dartmoor National Park Authority have confirmed (27/01/2020) that the buildings retain their curtilage listing status.

Ordnance Survey, 2020, MasterMap 2020 (Cartographic). SDV363413.

Depicted on the modern mapping. Now converted to residential use, this former farm building has been subdivided and is marked as Mill Cottage (west end) and Brook Cottage (east end).
