The visible earthwork does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Ringmore.

A linear bank circa 4m wide and 117m long is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 and visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013, on the south-west facing slopes south of Renton, Ringmore.
The visible earthwork does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Ringmore and is interpreted as the remains of a field boundary possibly of medieval origin that was removed prior to the mid-19th century.
