Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2019-2020, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 2, Avon Valley to Plymouth (AI&M, formerly NMP) (Interpretation). SDV362982.

Linear and curvilinear earthwork banks, circa 5 wide and broadly east to west and north to south aligned, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. One of the earthworks to the south corresponds with a field boundary shown on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, whilst the remaining earthworks do not correspond with any such features on this map or on later available historic maps. The earthworks are in keeping with the surrounding historic field pattern, which is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields, which supports the interpretation that they represent field boundaries of potential medieval date which had mostly passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
