Grinsell, L. V., 1970, The Barrows of North Devon, 116 (Article in Serial). SDV7849.

Visited 1969. A bowl barrow. Diameter 27 paces, height 3.75 feet.


Department of Environment, 1971, Eight Round Barrows on Affland Moor (Schedule Document). SDV339647.

Visited March 1969. Diameter 40 yards, height 4 feet. Under pasture.


Ordnance Survey, 1977 - 1997, SS30SW6 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV343335.

Visited 9th March 1951. Well preserved grass covered bowl barrow. A faint ditch visible.
Visited 21st November 1977. No visible ditch. Other details: Plan.


Devon Committee for Rescue Archaeology, 1979 - 1981, North Devon Barrow Survey, DCRA ND77 (Archive - Survey). SDV341310.

Visited 11th October 1979. Diameter.27.6 metres, height 1.11 metres. Large mound in prominent position in pasture field. Slightly flat top but probably due to ploughing. Stony composition. Rather flattened and spread but still in fairly good condition. No sign of ditch.

Visited 17th July 1997. Southern of two bowl barrows 450 metres west of lLeworthy, forming part of a cluster. Diameter 28.8 metres, height 1.2 metres. Ditch survives as buried feature.
