Summary

A possible tor cairn lies adjacent to the highest northern pile of Legis Tor. It exists as a crude semi-circular earthwork platform 6.8m in diameter and a maximum of 0.5m high attached to a natural platform c. 5m in diameter on the tor itself. The top of the possible cairn is uneven and obscured by dense reeds.

(17/02/2005) SX 57056560. A possible tor cairn lies adjacent to the highest northern pile of Legis Tor. It exists as a crude semi-circular earthwork platform 6.8m in diameter and a maximum of 0.5m high attached to a natural platform c. 5m in diameter on the tor itself. The top of the possible cairn is uneven and obscured by dense reeds.
