Referred to as the top cattle building, this building dates to the 1909 refurbishment of the farm by George Wreford. The building was used to house yearlings and bullcoks, but later was coverted for use as a chicken/duck shed.

A cow house with hayloft over built by George Wreford in 1909, located within the west range north of the stables. It has a form similar to the traditional linhay, but the ground floor bays were fully or largely enclosed with wooden doors from the outset. The building was recently used for rearing chicken, and alterations have been made to the structure and internal fittings.
