A sub-circular earthwork mound, circa 17m diameter, is visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2019. The earthwork corresponds with land parcel 30 on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, which is recorded as ‘Old Kiln and Quarry’ on the accompanying Tithe Apportionment. A circular feature of this limekiln is also possibly shown in this location on the Tithe Map, although it is not depicted on the late 19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map. The earthwork mound is therefore interpreted as the possible remains of a post-medieval or early 19th century limekiln which had likely fallen out of use by mid-19th century and been demolished by the late 19th century.
