Narrow curvilinear ditches, less than 2m wide, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1989 and visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2019. The earthworks do not correspond with any features shown in this location on the available historic mapping, although a curvilinear water channel is shown to the immediate north on the late 19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map which probably represents an associated feature. This supports the interpretation that the earthworks represent 19th century water channels which had partly fallen out of use by the late 19th century.
