Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2019-2021, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 2, Avon Valley to Plymouth (AI&M, formerly NMP) (Interpretation). SDV362982.

A north-north-east to south-south-west aligned bank circa 5m wide and 110m long is identifiable as a low earthwork bank on the north-west facing slopes, north of Bastard’s Park Corner.
The visible earthwork does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Modbury but is in keeping with the character of an immediately adjacent field boundary, which is probably post-medieval subdivision of a broader medieval enclosure pattern.
It is interpreted as a field boundary of probable post-medieval date that was removed by the early 19th century.
