Shallow earthwork hollows or ditches up to circa 15m wide and 175m long are visible on aerial photographs of 1946 and identifiable on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2019 on the north-facing combe slopes north-west and south-east of Stolliford Farm.
For the most part the visible earthworks do not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map for Modbury but are in keeping with the character of the medieval enclosure to the north and are aligned in several places on extant boundaries.
The relict earthworks are interpreted as the remains of field boundaries of probably medieval origin that had been removed by the early 20th century.
The hollows might include elements of former roads or tracks, as recorded to the west of Stolliford Farm (MDV128709).
