A ditch up to circa 1.7m wide is visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2015 as a cropmark enclosing a roughly circular area circa 12m in diameter, on the gentle west-facing slopes near the summit of the ridge between Burleigh Dolts hillfort and Malborough.
The cropmark could be evidence of a barrow of Bronze Age date or a round house of Iron Age to Roman origin.
Two similarly sized ring ditches are visible approximately 250m to the north-east potentially associated with a prehistoric field system.
