Protected Status
- SHINE: Earthworks and walling remains of a Bronze Age settlement south-west of Black Tor, consisting of six enclosures, associated hut circles, a section of reave, cairns, a stone row and at least eight medieval pillow mounds

One of at least seven hut circle enclosures on Black Tor. Hut Circle '1' measuring 5.3 meters in diameter is incorporated into the northern wall of Enclosure 'C'. A short section of wall is shown to the south-west.

This site was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
