The bank is orientated approximately north-east to south-west within woodland on a gentle north facing slope south-west of Kennicott.
The ditch does not correspond to any features depicted on the available historic maps, however it aligns to a depicted field boundary to the north-east. The plot is recorded as ‘Well Park Wood’ in the Tithe Apportionment.
