The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted.

Two small oval depressions are visible as earthworks.

Two small oval depressions between 9 and 11 metres across are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2005. The depressions are situated on a south-east facing slope within Blackmoorham Wood north of Tavy Consols Mine.
The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps and are interpreted as possible prospecting pits or air shafts of 18th or 19th century date.
