A series of parallel curvilinear banks are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The banks are orientated east to west and form subtle terraces down a south facing slope near a shallow combe south-west of Higher Edgcumbe.
The banks do not correspond to any features depicted on the available historic maps. The historic landscape is characterised as post-medieval enclosures with medieval elements.
The banks are interpreted as medieval field boundaries or lynchets, that passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
