Marked as Jews Hollycoombe

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Farmstead marked as Jews Hollacombe comprising buildings ranged around three sides of a large square farmyard. A building extends from the north range into the yard. A horse engine house is shown on the west side of the west range. To the west is a further range of buildings.

Norden refers to Jews Hollowcombe in his account of the hundred and manor of Kirton [Crediton] in 1598, at which time the estate comprised 280 acres.
