The earthworks partially correspond with depicted field boundaries.

A series of parallel curvilinear banks between circa 5 and 10 metres in width are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. They are orientated north to south across two south-west facing fields west of Milton Abbot.
Some of the banks may correspond to field boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map. The historic landscape is characterised as ‘medieval strip-enclosures’.
The banks are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval origin, that passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
