Summary
Several curvilinear banks are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 north-west of Milton Abbot. They are interpreted as field boundaries of probable medieval origin, some of which passed out of use by the mid-19th century.

Several parallel curvilinear banks circa 3-4 metres in width are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. They are orientated approximately north-east to south-west in a south-west facing field north-west of Milton Abbot.
One of the banks corresponds with a field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map, and the other banks are in parallel with those depicted. The historic landscape is characterised as ‘medieval strip-enclosures’.
The banks are interpreted as field boundaries of probable medieval origin, some of which passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
