Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments, Plot 1140 (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Field number 1140 is named 'Higher Roundy Park' and is part of Shapley Farm. Fields 1141 and 1142 are named Middle and Lower Roundy Park.

SX71048304. A squarish soil mark of a bank 25m square is visible on aerial photographs.

Ordnance Survey, 1989, OS/89/160, 211 (Aerial Photograph). SDV301494.

At the above NGR the Ordnance Survey aerial photograph shows a poor quality soil mark, rather oval in plan and perhaps about 35m north-east by south-west by 25m.
