Summary

A possible prehistoric enclosure and hut circle on the lower north-western flank of Gutter Tor. The enclosure is marked by a slight turf ring 11m north-south by 14m and the hut, adjoining the southern side of the enclosure by a level platform 4.5m in diameter. The stone element to this site appears to have been completely removed to furnish post medieval field boundaries to the north of the Sheepstor road.

(16/02/2005) Centred SX 57276709. A possible prehistoric enclosure and hut circle on the lower north-western flank of Gutter Tor. The enclosure is marked by a slight turf ring 11m north-south by 14m and the hut, adjoining the southern side of the enclosure by a level platform 4.5m in diameter. The stone element to this site appears to have been completely removed to furnish post medieval field boundaries to the north of the Sheepstor road.
