A depicted field boundary crosses through one of the earthworks.

Two earthwork depressions are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The eastern depression is elongated in shape and approximately 65m by 25m, the western depression is circular and approximately 45m across. The depressions do not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps. An extant field boundary first depicted on the Tithe Map crosses through one of the earthworks. The depressions are interpreted as post-medieval extractive pits, that ceased extraction prior to circa 1840.
