An orchard is depicted surrounding an Old Marl Pit.

A series of closely parallel banks are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The banks correspond with an orchard plot first depicted on the First Edition OS map surrounding an old marl pit (MDV39234). The orchard passed out of use in the mid-late 20th century.
The banks are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees established in the mid to late 19th century and that passed out of use in the mid-late 20th century.
