Three parallel curvilinear banks are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. They are orientated approximately north-west to south-east across a field west of Roncombe Farm and do not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps. The historic landscape is characterised as 'medieval enclosures'. The banks are interpreted as former field boundaries of probable medieval origin, that may have formed part of a strip field system, and that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
A curvilinear ditch is situated between the field boundaries on a different orientation. It is interpreted as a post-medieval field boundary and has not been recorded.
