A 'Marl Pit' is depicted.

A shallow irregular shaped earthwork depression circa 70m by 25m is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. It partially corresponds with a 'Marl Pit' depicted on the Second Edition OS map. The depression is interpreted as a marl pit of late 19th to early 20th century origin, that ceased extraction by the mid-20th century.
