A large oval shaped earthwork depression.

A large oval shaped earthwork depression circa 90m by 40m is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The depression does not correspond to any features depicted on historic maps and is interpreted as an extractive pit of post-medieval origin. Alternatively it could be of natural origin.
